KRILL – PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes what information Krill collects and how it is used.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
By default, Krill:
Does not collect personally identifiable information (PII)
Does not transmit logs, configurations, or user identifiers
Does not share any data with third parties
Your devices, data, and local network remain private and under your full control.
2. Information Stored Locally
Krill stores configuration data, node data, logs, and operational history locally on the devices you deploy it to. This data is not transmitted unless you explicitly configure sharing, syncing, or remote connections.
3. Optional Anonymous Usage Statistics
Krill may offer an opt-in system to send anonymous diagnostic metrics to help improve the software. This data may include:
Performance metrics
Server version
Feature usage counts
Error frequency
This data:
Contains no names, emails, IP addresses, or identifying device identifiers
Is used solely to improve stability, security, and performance
Is never transferred to advertisers or third parties
Can be disabled at any time
4. No Third-Party Advertising
Krill does not include ads and does not share data with advertisers.
5. Security
We use industry-standard methods to help secure stored and transmitted data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
6. Children
Krill is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the project evolves. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
